AAA and Horizon Club Tours Provide a “Taste of Italy” in Western New York

Event to be held at the new, state-of-the-art Niagara Falls Culinary Institute

BUFFALO, N.Y., September 28, 2012 — AAA Western and Central New York and Horizon Club Tours are inviting members and the general public to take part in a unique culinary experience at the new state-of-the-art Niagara Falls Culinary Institute. The event menu features Italian-style cooking demonstrations, food and wine tastings, a tour of the brand new Culinary Institute and Italian travel presentations from Insight Vacations.

Local chef and author, Mary Ann Giordano, will demonstrate her Sicilian style of cooking as she recreates recipes from The Saint Joseph’s Day Table Cookbook, which she authored after 25 years of cooking locally in Buffalo. Chef Giordano’s style of cooking, often described as “American Fusion,” is a product of her family background—her Sicilian grandmother and father, who taught her a love of food, history and traditions.
